Pizza Oven

Preheat for 15-20 minutes. Check that door seal is clean. Rotate pizza every 1-2 minutes for even cooking.

🔥

Gas Grill

Check gas level before starting. Turn on gas valve (left side), press ignition button, and adjust burner knobs to desired heat. Always close door gently.

🔥

Traeger Smoker

Fill hopper with pellets, power on the controller, set desired temperature, and let it preheat for 15 minutes. It'll beep when ready.

🔥

Fire Pit

Add wood, use the long-handled lighter on the table, adjust vents at the base to control flame intensity. Keep water nearby and never leave unattended.

🎵

Speakers & Lighting

Just say "Alexa, rooftop" to set the mood. She'll turn on the Sonos speakers and adjust outdoor lighting automatically.

Pro Tips

1

Best Sunset Views

The magic happens around 7 PM in summer. Pull up a chair, grab a drink, and watch the sun paint the Front Range. Peak season is May through October.

2

Traeger Low & Slow

Set the Traeger to 225°F for a 6-hour brisket or pulled pork while you relax and enjoy the views. It's the ultimate low-maintenance entertaining.

3

Fire Pit Finale

Light the fire pit after dinner for dessert and conversation. The view of city lights below and stars above with the Front Range silhouette is unforgettable.

If Something's Not Working

Fire Pit Won't Light

Check that the long-handled lighter has fuel (test it near the base first). Clear any debris from the center. If the ignition still doesn't work, ensure the gas valve beneath the pit is fully open (turn counterclockwise). Give it a few seconds to flow before trying again.

Traeger or Grill Not Heating

For the Traeger: Check that the hopper has pellets and the auger isn't jammed (gently tap the hopper). Restart the controller and let it preheat for 15 minutes. For the grill: Verify the gas valve is fully open and the propane tank isn't empty. Listen for the ignition spark. Clean the igniter with a dry cloth if needed.

Outdoor Speakers Not Playing

Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is on and within range. Forget the speaker in Bluetooth settings and re-pair it. If Alexa isn't responding, check the WiFi connection on the Alexa device. Restart the speaker by unplugging it for 30 seconds and plugging back in.
