Quick Start
Say "Alexa, movie night" and watch the house transform. Lights dim to a warm glow, blackout shades lower, and the perfect ambiance takes over. Time to settle in.
Start your day right. "Alexa, good morning" gently brightens the lights, opens the shades, and sets a welcoming mood throughout the home.
Heading to the terrace? Say "Alexa, rooftop" and the outdoor spaces come alive with the perfect lighting and music to set the mood.
Just ask Alexa to play any song, artist, or playlist through Sonos. Want music in a specific room? Simply say "Alexa, play jazz in the bedroom" and it happens instantly.
Adjust brightness and color with your voice: "Alexa, set the living room to 50%" or use the wall switches for manual control. Both work seamlessly together.
The home is divided into zones. Control each room independently by room name: "Alexa, lights on in the kitchen" or "Turn off the bedroom lights."
Pro Tips
Multi-Room Music
The Sonos system is powerful. You can ask Alexa to play music in any room or throughout the entire home. Create the perfect soundtrack for your stay—whether it's morning coffee in the kitchen or a dinner party spanning the whole house.
Lighting Scenes Are Pre-Set
All the lighting scenes are designed and ready to go. Movie night, good morning, rooftop—they're all optimized. You don't need to fiddle with individual lights or settings. Just ask Alexa and enjoy.
No Remotes Needed
The whole system is designed so you never have to hunt for a remote. Everything responds to your voice. If you forget a command, just say "Alexa, help" and she'll guide you. It's that simple.
If Something's Not Working
Alexa Not Responding
Check that the device is powered on and within reasonable distance. If Alexa still doesn't respond, try moving closer to the speaker or saying the command more clearly. If the issue persists, give it 30 seconds and try again—sometimes it just needs a moment to reconnect.
Sonos Not Playing Music
Make sure the Sonos speaker is powered on and connected to the home WiFi. Try asking Alexa to play a song in a different room to isolate the problem. If one room isn't working but others are, the speaker in that room may need a restart—unplug it for 10 seconds and plug back in.
Lights Not Changing
Ensure the wall switches are in the "on" position. Smart bulbs need power to respond to voice commands. If a single room's lights aren't working, try restarting that light circuit breaker. For widespread issues, restart the main hub or check your WiFi connection.
