Quick Start

  • Turn the temperature dial to your desired heat (preheat for 15–20 minutes)
  • Toggle between Convection (faster, more even) and Standard heating modes
  • Place food on the middle rack for best results

Pro Tips

  • Convection mode is perfect for baking cookies, pastries, and roasted vegetables—it circulates heat for faster, more even results
  • The middle rack is your sweet spot; the upper rack runs hotter, the lower rack cooler

If It's Not Working

  • Not heating: Check that the gas valve is on (control panel shows "standby" until it ignites)
  • Display error codes: These usually clear themselves; if persistent, shut it off for 30 seconds and try again
  • Uneven heat: Make sure oven racks are fully seated and the door closes completely

Quick Start

  • Push down and turn the burner knob counterclockwise to ignite
  • You'll hear a clicking sound as the igniter fires; hold for a few seconds until the flame appears
  • Adjust the knob to control flame height—low for simmering, high for boiling

Pro Tips

  • The back burners have higher BTU output and heat faster—use them for boiling water or searing
  • Match burner size to your pan; use the small ring for small pots, the large ring for bigger cookware

If It's Not Working

  • Burner won't light: Push the knob down firmly and turn—sometimes it needs a full second of turning
  • Just clicking, no flame: The igniter electrodes might be wet; wipe them dry with a cloth and try again
  • Low flame or won't stay on: Make sure the pan is stable and the burner caps are seated properly

Miele Coffee Station

Quick Start

  • Fill the water tank (upper left) and insert ground espresso into the portafilter
  • Press the Espresso button for a shot, Americano for espresso + hot water, or Latte for espresso + steamed milk
  • The milk frother is the small tube on the right side; insert it into milk and press the steam button

Pro Tips

  • The water tank sits in the upper left compartment; fill it at least halfway to avoid the "low water" error
  • For silky microfoam on lattes, angle the milk jug so the frother tip is just below the surface—listen for a gentle hissing sound

If It's Not Working

  • Not dispensing: Check that the water tank is full (look for a low-water indicator on the display)
  • Descale light on: Run the descaling cycle (consult the display menu) to clean the internal tubes; usually takes about 10 minutes
  • Weak espresso: Tamp the ground coffee firmly in the portafilter, or run a rinse cycle to clear old grounds

Quick Start

  • Place food inside and close the door securely
  • Use the keypad to enter time and select a power level (1–10, with 10 being maximum power)
  • Press Start; the timer counts down and beeps when done

Pro Tips

  • Sensor Cook mode (button on the front) is surprisingly smart—select your food type and let it adjust time and power automatically
  • For uneven foods like leftover pizza or fish, use power level 6 or 7 and stir halfway through

If It's Not Working

  • Won't start: Make sure the door is fully closed and latched
  • Child lock on: If the display shows a lock icon, press and hold the lock button (usually on the side) for 3 seconds to disable
  • Beeping but not heating: Check that you selected a power level above 0 and the timer isn't set to 0:00
